What-ho Ladies and Gentlemen!! This summer, those lovely people from Ramus Seafoods are saying a jolly ‘hoorah’ to all things Blighty and British, and an especially large raucous round of applause for our very own British fish!!

In conjunction with Ramus Seafoods, some of the best local restaurants will also be participating in the area’s first ‘British Seafood Festival’. Each one will have a special British seafood menu (Please note, you will have to bring your own lashings of ginger beer...) at rather spiffing, special prices!!

So, from Saturday the 29th May until Sunday the 11th July, you can eat some of the very best British fish at some incredible prices. We will also be having a Seafood Festival open day on Sunday June the 27th in Ilkley with a range of activities including demonstrations and tastings taking place. Plus other promotional activities yet to be finalized.

To celebrate the British Seafood Festival this year we are holding an Open Day on the 27th June.

There will be cooking demonstrations from top chefs including Harvey Nichols Executive Chef Richard Allen and Harrogate’s Tom Van Zeller. Also demonstrating will be Ramus Managing Director Jonathan Batchelor and Sesame Sushi, who will be sampling their new range of British Sushi.

There will be a range of Pottery and Giftware to buy and a special Ramus Seafood’s salad bar serving a lovely menu of seafood salads, oysters and open sandwiches. All this and more kicks off at 10am on Sunday the 27th June.

Entry is free and every guest will receive and voucher giving £10 discount for £40 spent in either Ramus Seafood Emporium in Ilkley or Harrogate.
